"Weep not for the memories."

Forgot to post these pictures so here they are, the last batch of summer pictures. Look how tan I was! :o)

I love Sauce clothing; they are always so fun and whimsical. Sauce is also a pretty popular brand among celebrities such as Vanessa Hudgens, Nicky Hilton, Megan Fox, and Anna Kournikova.

Here, what would have been plain white tee shirt was transformed with tab cap sleeves and the addition of the safety pins (one of their trademark additions).

"I used to think one day we'd tell the story of us."

As the temperatures drop, it's clear summer has left us. I don't really mind the cold; it's the rain that I hate. I've told you that I'm not cut out for the Pacific Northwest! But either way, time for layering and long sleeves!

"Can't fight the moonlight."

Sometimes I get really busy during the day and don't have time for pictures until the end of the day. It's a lot easier to get away with it during the summer when it's still light out late at night. In any case, I'm thankful for flash photography and some moonlight. :o)

"I'm too sexy for my shirt."

I think I'm going to just have a fun month with screen tees! I love this Alex & Chloe one which says "I'm too sexy for my shirt" -- in French. I think the foreign language factor adds much coolness.

"Life's too short to be sittin' 'round miserable."

Sorry I've been gone for so long! I've been really busy, work had been stressful, and my boyfriend and I had broken up; in general, life had just been rough and I was taking a little break. But I'm back and better than before!

I'm turning twenty three this weekend and I'm ready to make good changes. It's time that I go after everything I want in life. Let the ambition restart! :o)

Juicy Couture tee. Eighty Six skirt. Gap flats. Marc Jacobs earrings. Guess watch. Forever 21 ring.

I went for a green and gold theme here. I had this Eighty Six skirt for awhile and had been dying to wear it; but sequin skirts--especially gold ones since the color makes it extra blingy--are kind of hard to pull off on a normal day. I paired gold skirt with my Juicy Couture screen tee since the gold lettering matched the skirt. Despite the fact the words are glittery, the screen tee adds casualness to the outfit. I added my gold rose ring for a little bit of statement, and anytime I wear dark green, I seem to always wear my Marc Jacobs owl earrings! Finally, to bring my outfit down a notch and prevent it from being over the top, I went with flats--dark green to match! :o)

Thus, when trying to wear something normally fancy/dressy for a normal day, dress it down with casual items such a screen tee and/or flats.

Also, advice of the day, as my shirt says, "Eat cake, wear Juicy Couture!" although not necessarily verbatim. (I, personally, am not a huge cake fan.) In a more general translation, eat what you want and dress fabulously! :o)

Have you seen the Pretty Little Liars season finale?? It was pretty good! And of course, expect Pretty Little Liars fashion inspirational pictures to follow later!

"Picture that with a Kodak."

I'm semi short so I tend to wear skirts and dresses with shorter hems to allude that my legs are longer than they really are. Any length that falls past the knees gets a bit tricky so I tend to avoid them altogether.

However, once upon a time ago, I fell in love with John Varvatos and bought this silk dress. It's longer than I prefer--it's probably the longest dress I own besides the one in this post--and it's a tad matronly but I love it nonetheless. In attempts to not look so 40s housewife-ish, I paired the dress with nude fishnets (which is hard to see because of the brightness of the pictures) and tall heels.

John Varvatos dress. Forever 21 tank top.
Steve Madden heels.
Swarovki earrings. Linea Pelle bracelet. House of Harlow Sunburst ring.

The newest items Sunburst collection from House of Harlow are currently this khaki color. I have the Sunburst ring in cream (as seen in this post), the earrings in black, and I have been wanting the Abalone Pendant Necklace for the longest time. So if I continue the trend of collecting different items from the collection in different colors, I could still choose from a few others to get in khaki. :o)

I am so excited that Pretty Little Liars is back! I haven't watched this week's episode yet though, has anyone seen it? And if so, was it worth the wait??

I'm going to start having a "Blogger/Look of the Week" which will normally be announced on Fridays (conveniently coinciding with Friend Friday) so be sure to friend/follow me on Facebook and Twitter! ! :o)

"Yeah, that's that super bass."

Sorry for the late post, I had some issues with my computer and have also been pretty busy at the same time. :o(

I used to be pretty anti-Nicki Minaj, but I loved "Moment 4 Life" and "Super Bass" has been really growing on me lately--it's just so catchy!!

It looks a bit like I'm wearing a halter top, but that's attributed to the fun cut outs of my Rebecca Beeson shirt. It's really a short sleeved shirt, but with the cut outs combined with the covering of the cardigan, it's a little deceiving. It's a fun top and really comfortable; I would recommend Rebecca Beeson for anyone looking for cute tops.

I'm also a huge fan of my new JET by John Eshaya striped blanket wrap sweater. It is great to throw on, is really versatile, and is super comfortable; plus, I love the black and white color! I completely understand why it is such a celeb favorite. I couldn't find my black and white one anywhere online, but if you're interested in buying the gray and black striped version (the same one Lindsay Lohan has), you can go here.

Rebecca Beeson top. JET by John Eshaya cardigan. rvca shorts.
Nordstrom and Forever 21 rings. Betsey Johnson tights. Aldo heels.

More pattern mixing here, this time with stripes and argyle. I think they worked pretty well together and created an even contrast between themselves. I also just realized that last time I did pattern mixing, I was also wearing a black and white striped cardigan. What a coincidence!

Hope everyone has had a good week so far! It's the end of the week! I'm pretty excited for the 4 day weekend! I'm going to be working, but hoping to fit in some shopping as well! With whatever plans that happen to fall into place, I simply wish the Pacific Northwest will realize we're a month away from summer and stop raining!!

Does anyone have any fun plans? :o)

Also going to throw out the idea of guest blogging again if anyone is interested! I've seen bloggers do guest posting and I think it's a great idea. If anyone is interested in doing a blog "swap"/mutual guest posting, let me know!

"Let the rhythm change your world."

Currently loving my [semi] new Juicy Couture nailhead scarf! I wore it earlier in this post and also blogged about it, but let me tell you, I am still in love with as I was the day I bought it. I highly recommend infinity scarves--they're so easy to wear! I especially love the studs on my scarf because it makes it seem a bit edgier--just how I like it! (You can buy my scarf here if you're interested!)

Speaking of Juicy, I am also loving with my Juicy Couture mood ring (sold out everywhere online)! I loved mood rings as a kid, and the fact that this is a Juicy Couture mood ring makes it even better! And according to the blue of my mood ring, I was apparently happy! :o)

However, my favorite part of this outfit would probably be my [faux] leather skirt. I had been searching everywhere for a cute leather skirt and randomly came across this one in the sale racks at Forever 21. Score! Snagging a cute leather skirt at a great price (less than $20!) is a win!

This was yet another black day for me, but I attempted to make things less boring by wearing patterned tights and pink heels. My boss took one look at my outfit and called it "spicy." I took it as a compliment :o)

Gap top. Forever 21 skirt. Couture and House of Harlow rings.
Nine West heels. Target tights. Juicy Couture Nailhead Infinity Scarf.

My giveaway ends at the end of the month, don't forget to enter for a chance to win a bird necklace I made!

"'Cause you can, so you do."

Have you tried the Starbucks Toffee Frappuccinos? I love them! Clearly, because I am endorsing them in a following picture and am not paid for it!

Forever 21 dress. Banana Republic cami. BCBG wedges. Handmade necklace.
Juicy Couture bracelet. Swarovski earrings. Nordstrom ring.

Remember those black Calvin Klein heels I used to wear almost always? (They were my go-to heels after all!) Well unfortunately for me, I can't find them. I am 99% sure my closet ate them. But in conclusion, it is why I've been wearing these BCBG wedges so often. They often just happen to be the last worn pair of shoes and not yet placed back correctly in the closet; so when I'm in a hurry, they are the most accessible.

I really need to look for my Calvin Klein heels though (or dig other black heels out) because the Mary Jane style of the BCBG wedges make them a little less versatile. I absolutely love the wedges; but with this dress, it makes me look a tad matronly--which isn't the look I'm going for!

Speaking of things I don't go for, I love shopping online because you can find amazing steals and deals; however, the downside is you're not always 100% guaranteed what you get will be perfect. Obviously when it comes to clothes, if you're in a store, you can try something on. If you get it online, even if you know what size you are in a certain brand, you can find that you don't like the fit of something.

When it comes to accessories, you could potentially go wrong when pictures are extra zoomed in or not shown to scale. When I bought the Juicy bracelet I'm wearing in this post on a flash sale site, I thought it was going to be a lot thicker. Thankfully, it's still really cute, and I love it! You can buy the pink or white version of it here for just $23! And my picture wearing it is accurate!! :o)

But if you're interested in jewelry for free...

"I'm wearing all my favorite brands, brands, brands..."

Okay, I'm not wearing all my favorite brands, but a few of my very favorites--Marc Jacobs, Juicy Couture, People's Liberation, and House of Harlow! :o)

Marc Jacobs dress. People's Liberation jacket. BCBG wedges. Juicy Couture earrings. Forever 21 necklace. House of Harlow rings.

In yesterday's post, I was talking about how much I loved wide statement rings that cover multiple fingers and give the illusion of a double finger ring. And voila, another favorite ring of mine! Of course, I love anything House of Harlow, but I love the key ring not only for its antique feel, but also definitely for its wideness! You can find the Key Cocktail Ring here, and if you like my Thick Stack Ring, you can get it [in silver] here.

And in another previous post, I was wearing the larger [and pink] version of these hoops earrings. Here is a close up picture of today's earrings.

Such a true statement because I totally need more Juicy! :o) I certainly don't love every single item they make--the case with most brands--but I'm definitely a Juicy Couture girl, especially when it comes to their jewelry!

Also, if you like my bird necklace, buy it here for $1.50! (Well, not including shipping. But if you visit your nearest Forever 21 store, you can buy it for $1.50!) It also comes in silver, and at the price, why not get both colors? I'm loving Forever 21's cheap $1.50 jewelry selection. They generally have always had cheap jewelry, but at $1.50, the jewelry is practically a steal! If you consider yourself a frugalista, be sure to check it out online or in stores. :o)

So so so SO glad Friday is about here!

"So hold your head up, girl and you'll go far."

Gap top. Gap jacket. Patterson J. Kincaid skirt. DIY necklace. Forever 21 ring. Seychelles boots.

My necklace was a DIY project I came up with inspired by a Marc Jacobs necklace I saw. I started this post dedicated to the project but realized it would be much easier to show you how to make it if I had pictures, so I'll redo the project and take pictures. Look forward to that post! :o)

I'm really liking the whole big ring trend, as you can see with my cross ring. Though I think double finger rings are pretty swell, these are definitely more convenient and comfortable wearing on just a single finger. And I like that they give the illusion that they're a double finger ring. Look how similar the ring in this post looks to the ring here. I definitely plan on buying more big/wide statement rings! (Any reason to buy more jewelry, right?)

I've been on the lookout for cute flats and I came across these babies.

They are Jeremy Scott x Adidas "JS Wings Ballerina Shoes." They're a bit pricey at $100 retail, but they are so fabulous, they may well be worth it. I'm loving the pink ones, but the white ones are much more versatile, and the black ones are just plain fun!

I've had a super busy week and am definitely looking forward to the weekend! (Who knows, maybe I'll snag myself a pair of those shoes!)
