"Yeah, that's that super bass."

Sorry for the late post, I had some issues with my computer and have also been pretty busy at the same time. :o(

I used to be pretty anti-Nicki Minaj, but I loved "Moment 4 Life" and "Super Bass" has been really growing on me lately--it's just so catchy!!

It looks a bit like I'm wearing a halter top, but that's attributed to the fun cut outs of my Rebecca Beeson shirt. It's really a short sleeved shirt, but with the cut outs combined with the covering of the cardigan, it's a little deceiving. It's a fun top and really comfortable; I would recommend Rebecca Beeson for anyone looking for cute tops.



I'm also a huge fan of my new JET by John Eshaya striped blanket wrap sweater. It is great to throw on, is really versatile, and is super comfortable; plus, I love the black and white color! I completely understand why it is such a celeb favorite. I couldn't find my black and white one anywhere online, but if you're interested in buying the gray and black striped version (the same one Lindsay Lohan has), you can go here.

More pattern mixing here, this time with stripes and argyle. I think they worked pretty well together and created an even contrast between themselves. I also just realized that last time I did pattern mixing, I was also wearing a black and white striped cardigan. What a coincidence!



Hope everyone has had a good week so far! It's the end of the week! I'm pretty excited for the 4 day weekend! I'm going to be working, but hoping to fit in some shopping as well! With whatever plans that happen to fall into place, I simply wish the Pacific Northwest will realize we're a month away from summer and stop raining!!

Does anyone have any fun plans? :o)

Also going to throw out the idea of guest blogging again if anyone is interested! I've seen bloggers do guest posting and I think it's a great idea. If anyone is interested in doing a blog "swap"/mutual guest posting, let me know!

"Just love yourself, and you're set."

I want to do mutual guest posts/blog switches for a day with other fashion bloggers!  Anyone interested?  I've seen it on other blogs and think it would be fun!  Let me know if you're up for it!

I'm pretty excited for March.  I'm glad I can look back on February and say that it was a good month for me--at least a productive month, but productivity makes me happy so therefore, a good month!  I started hot yoga which I've been enjoying.  Well, it's kind of torture, but good torture.  It's nice having someone yell at me to push myself harder, and I really enjoy how I feel afterward.  I've also gotten back on the treadmill and bike, so I'm super proud of myself.  And I did a few art pieces and have gotten back into tinkering with jewelry making (pictures to come!).  It makes me happy to be able to get around to doing things that I've been wanting to do for awhile now.  :o)

It's baaaaaaaaaaack. Recognize this jacket? ;) But don't worry, I haven't been wearing it every day! In fact, because I haven't been wearing it lately, I've missed it and just had to revisit it. :o)

This Forever 21 ring never fails to draw attention and bring compliments.  I was at the checkout register at Safeway and the cashier guy was totally in awe.  I normally wear rings on my middle finger, but like a nice, large statement ring on my index finger. 

Not so fashion related, but worth your time:

The Solitude of Prime Numbers by Paolo Giordano was an international bestseller for a reason; it is an absolutely amazing read.  This novel by Giordano tells the story of two "primes"--lonely things that never fit with another--Alice and Mattia, starting with their childhood tragedies and continuing as their lives and destinies intersect.  Alice and Mattia had never been able to open themselves to anyone, but as they recognize the similarity in their emotional baggage and damaged state, they subconsciously begin to connect. 

However, in a rash moment between Alice and Mattia, Mattia decides to accept a research position abroad leaving them separated by thousands of miles and thousands of unsaid things.  Raw, poignant, The Solitude of Prime Numbers delivers a heart-wrenching story to its readers.  It is hard to finish the book and not be affected.  The stories--the lives--of Alice and Mattia are sad and tragic, but told beautifully by Giordano.  Rating: 4.8/5.

I came to the realization that though my blog implies that I am fashionably greedy and want everything, I have yet to really take the time and tell you what I'm lusting after.  So lo and behold, here is my first Obsession of the Week post!  There are endless amazing Aldo heels on sale, but specifically, I have (after hours of struggling) narrowed it down to my top 12 pairs of shoes all under $50!  So help a girl out, which ones are your favorites?  And better yet, tell me what heels you've been wanting!

It was a cooler day, but I really wanted to wear my new William Rast top so I paired it with a C & California long sleeved tee under.  Presto!  The black of the tee also coordinated really well with the black of the buttons and tie of the William Rast top.  Yeah, I didn't analyze this outfit or anything...However, if I had to replan it, I would've worn different jeans.  Because as much as I absolutely love this pair of Rich & Skinny jeans, the best part about them is the studs on the sides.  But with the length of my top, you can't even see, let alone appreciate the studded detailing of the jeans.  It's all about the details!
