"Let's stop chasing those boys and shop some more."

Being single (and with not so many opportunities to mingle) these days provides me a lot of spare time on my hands to do things such as shopping. :o)

Here are some of my recent fabulous purchases!

I had been eyeing this ring for awhile; it had even been an Obsession item a few months back. Finally, it's all mine!

Take 2 for my pink pants! (They were first seen here.) I absolutely love them but they don't venture outside of my closet often because I fear I'll get them ruined. They are a really light pink, and are so light that with the addition of the bright sunlight, they kind of blend into my [cream] sweater in these pictures.



If I were more adventurous, I would take advantage of the subtle pink color and pair it with more vibrant colors, such as a nice green shirt (like I had actually considered). I have yet to decide if I didn't choose the more colorful outfit option because I didn't have the guts or because it's not really my personality--or both.

But what really happened was probably that I simply wanted to wear my new Juicy Couture jacket, which was gray, so I went with a semi pink and gray theme. For those who frequent my blog, you may notice that my Juicy Couture jacket looks pretty similar to the Abercrombie & Fitch jacket I often don (worn recently here); but they aren't exactly alike.

In fact, you will probably start seeing the Juicy Couture jacket more often because with its shorter sleeves (3/4 instead of full length) and thinner material, it's more of a thrown on for days that are warm but have potential for breezes or cooler evenings.

Swarovski earrings. House of Harlow and Lee Angel rings. Stuart Weitzman heels.

I've always been a huge fan of rose gold--as you can see with my House of Harlow and Lee Angel rings, as well as my new watch. I really like that the rose gold color isn't as brazen as normal gold, but is still a nice contrast to silver.



I've probably had my Guess watch for about ten years now, and I have definitely grown attached to it; it's like a limb and I'm [almost] never without it. However, I finally got myself to buy a new watch so I could switch things up. Though I don't think that any watch will ever be able to fully replace my Guess watch, I love the rose gold. Plus, since I got it in the little girls' section [to easily accommodate my small wrist], it was a great bargain!

I am also currently in love with my new set of Lee Angel rings. I've always admired Lee Angel jewelry and only recently got around to a mini splurge on the set. I love everything about them--from the stars, to the rose gold, to the tiny stones, to the fact that I can wear them together as a set or choose if I feel like wearing a small, medium, or large star ring that day. :o)

"I'm wearing all my favorite brands, brands, brands..."

Okay, I'm not wearing all my favorite brands, but a few of my very favorites--Marc Jacobs, Juicy Couture, People's Liberation, and House of Harlow! :o)

In yesterday's post, I was talking about how much I loved wide statement rings that cover multiple fingers and give the illusion of a double finger ring. And voila, another favorite ring of mine! Of course, I love anything House of Harlow, but I love the key ring not only for its antique feel, but also definitely for its wideness! And in another previous post, I was wearing the larger [and pink] version of these hoops earrings. Here is a close up picture of today's earrings.



Such a true statement because I totally need more Juicy! :o) I certainly don't love every single item they make--the case with most brands--but I'm definitely a Juicy Couture girl, especially when it comes to their jewelry!

Also, if you like my bird necklace, buy it here for $1.50! (Well, not including shipping. But if you visit your nearest Forever 21 store, you can buy it for $1.50!) It also comes in silver, and at the price, why not get both colors? I'm loving Forever 21's cheap $1.50 jewelry selection. They generally have always had cheap jewelry, but at $1.50, the jewelry is practically a steal! If you consider yourself a frugalista, be sure to check it out online or in stores. :o)

All I want...is a Belle Noel jewelry piece.

It seems like every big celebrity out there has their own fragrance, and a good percentage have their own clothing line. I'm starting to wonder if the next big thing is to start their own jewelry line. When I heard Kim Kardashian started her "Belle Noel" jewelry line, I was a bit skeptical.

However, after checking out her stuff, I thought, "Hey, this isn't too shabby!" I actually really like Belle Noel. It's no House of Harlow in my opinion, but her designs are pretty nice. I love the edgy glam that Belle Noel portrays. Plus, it's rather affordable which makes the line even better!


Obsession of the Moment: Belle Noel Jewelry



1. "Nugget Double Drop Earrings," $30; I find these earrings really versatile. They would easily glam up any outfit, yet are so simple that you can wear it with anything.
2. "3 Pave Stack Bangle Bracelets," $88; I love the texture and pattern of the bracelets, and they would certainly look great together or individually.
3. "Multi Chain Nugget Necklace," $90; the ultimate glam statement necklace!
4. "Nugget and Ivory Ring," $25; this glamorous ring is a steal! I am also loving the ivory in the middle, it makes it not too much.
5. "Leather and Nugget Cuff," $125; it's a bit House of Harlow-esque, but that could probably be why I like it so much.
6. "Nugget Belle Locket" in Palladium, $45; I have a thing for lockets. I like the "nugget" design which makes the locket more unique and modern.

What do you think? Is it another lame celebrity attempt to expose their name more or would you actually buy Kim Kardashian's pieces?

Speaking of Kim Kardashian, I cringed when I first heard her new single. However, when I was watching the [rerun] episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" (I just recently started watching it because there are no other shows to watch late at night!) where Kim is recording the song with The Dream, I felt kind of bad for not giving it a chance because she had been so nervous. It could have also been strategically edited/acted out, but still!

In conclusion, if you hate Kim Kardashian's music, maybe you should at least give her jewelry a chance? I did! :o)

NightinGail necklace, $75; what else to say besides that it's absolutely amazing? Definitely a statement necklace that brings both glam and edginess.  I would rock this necklace at any party.  It says, "Look at me, I am glamorous."

Ahoy necklace, $75; definitely a silver necklace like no other. Classy, glam, edgy--this necklace can bring to your necklace whatever you want.  It's more edgy than the Luster necklace, but more subtle than the NightinGail.


I was browsing online per usual and came across Samantha House.  Wow, her jewelry line is amazing!  All her jewelry on Shopbop (though limited at the moment) is currently on sale so make sure to check them out before they sell out. 
Any of you who have seen/read my older posts know my obsession with rocks and stones, and if you didn't know yet, this post is especially for you!  In general, I love rocks and stones because my inner nerd has to find some indulgence.  But as far as fashion goes, I have yet to see any rocks, stones, or rhinestones that doesn't add a statement to whatever they are on.

1. Jelly Bracelet Set, $15; Honestly, I think the whole Silly Band craze is silly.  But these are Marc Jacobs...
2. ReMARCable Dove Studs, $32; Love that they look so much like the bird silhouette on the Petal to the Metal bags.

I haven't gone through much of an autobiography of myself--although no one has asked for one yet either--but when it comes to fashion, you must know that Marc Jacobs is, hands down, one of my favorite--if not very favorite--fashion designer.  I absolutely love his fun and whimsical designs which easily morph into very chic and classy items.  If I could marry him and have him design me lots of things, I would be one happy girl.  Unfortunately, that's an impossible dream in more ways than one.  Thus, I'll have to settle with lusting more after his designs.  :o)

Also, sorry for the bad photo editing skills tonight, I'm pretty sick and it's also pretty much bedtime.

And on a side note, I just bought a pair of amazing Tarina Tarantino earrings last night that I couldn't live without.  I can't wait until they arrive!  They were an amazing deal!  (If you're not a member of Beyond the Rack, join!!)

Obsession of the Week: Rockin' Rings

I've never really liked science; I found it boring and I was just not good at it--that is, except when it comes to geology.  When I was in second grade, I was in an after-school rock club, and it wasn't music we studied.  Confession: I still have such nerdiness inside of me.  So when I hear terms like "agate," or "pyrite," "quartz," or "bloodstone," I get super excited.  What you have here in today's entry is my passion for rocks combined with my love for fashion.

Eva necklace: absolutely elegant and stunning.
Nello earrings: so lovely, I've always wanted this pair!
Claudette ring: don't know if it's been evident, but I love black, especially jewelry!

I wish I lived in a big city like NYC or L.A. or anywhere else with abundant chances for sample sales.  Unfortunately, I don't.  The closest I've come to a sample sale was an American Apparel rummage sale earlier this summer and the Victoria's Secret Pink Nation [somewhat] exclusive sales every now and then.  Lame, I know.  But fortunately, the internet has blessed people like me with online sample sales!  If you haven't been gotten in on these, don't wait any longer!  My personal favorites are HauteLook, Rue la la, Ideeli, Beyond the Rack, and of course, Gilt which currently has a Amrita Singh sale.  

I have always been a fan of Amrita Singh jewelry; however, it's this week's obsession because when I saw the recent sales, I was just reminded of just how amazing the jewelry is.  Amrita Singh jewelry is always so classy and chic and would instantly dress up any outfit.  Above are my personal favorites but be sure to check out Gilt for a larger selection.  Move quick though, fashionably frenzy shoppers always snag great finds; the sale also ends Monday (October 18th) at 9am PDT.
