Obsession of the Week: Rockin' Rings
1. Billy Bride Eres ring, $395; Just because it's the last ring on the website not sold out doesn't mean it's any less amazing.
2. Juicy Couture Vintage Red Agate Sparrow Ring, $88; Okay, the agate is faux, but it's still a beautiful ring!
3. Manu Rose Quartz & White Agate Ring, $195; Delicate, yet still subtly edgy.
4. The Carrot Box Green "Jada" Ring, $16; Simple and affordable!
5. Sparkling Sage Crystal Statement Ring, $48; Definitely a statement ring!
6. Stephen Dweck Smoky Quartz, Green Bloodstone, & Pyrite Bubble Ring, $495; Love the elegant style.
I've never really liked science; I found it boring and I was just not good at it--that is, except when it comes to geology. When I was in second grade, I was in an after-school rock club, and it wasn't music we studied. Confession: I still have such nerdiness inside of me. So when I hear terms like "agate," or "pyrite," "quartz," or "bloodstone," I get super excited. What you have here in today's entry is my passion for rocks combined with my love for fashion.

"You know me, in anticipation for precipitation."
Juicy Couture top. Joe's Jeans. Coach bag. House of Harlow earrings. Zigi Soho boots.
Quite unfortunately for me (and every other non-outdoorsy person around here), the end of summer in the Pacific Northwest means rain for the next 8 months...
Here are my Zigi boots again! You may be seeing them quite often. I think I had a Zigi-Soho-boot-wearing-hiatus during these last few months. So if you missed them, here they are again! And in case you were never introduced to these boots, see here, here, here, here, or even... here! More often than not, these are my absolute go-to boots.

Not sure if I've said this before, but I'm a huge fan of Nicole Richie's House of Harlow jewelry line; it's hands down, one of my favorite jewelry brands. I pretty much fell in love with these earrings after Ella Simms on "Melrose Place" (which I'm sad got canceled!) wore them! I am still, however, currently lusting after the [Sunburst] ring to match (just one of the endless House of Harlow items I want)!

"Like I'm the only one who knows your heart."
Priorities dress. Calvin Klein heels. Coach bag. Guess watch.
Juicy Couture necklace. Linea Pelle braclet. Forever 21 ring.
Has anyone tried the new Toffee Mocha at Starbucks? I absolutely love it! Nothing like some nice coffee to start the day!
Also, please admire my cute Juicy Couture necklace more than my awful tan lines (courtesy of the Vans Tour day). Again, do avoid statement necklaces for any days you might get a tan!
Back to how I was saying in the previous post about my tendency to buy the same item in multiple colors, I also have this pictured ring in gold. I'm not sure if the double finger /connector rings are so huge these days, but I still both like and wear them. This cross connector ring from Forever 21 one is quite the popular one though. I've seen it on multiple fashion bloggers, including That's Chic!

All I want...is to fashionably support breast cancer awareness!
Obsession of the Week: Boy Meets Girl Breast Cancer tote
Exclusively at UrbanOutfitters.com: $18
I've been pretty busy this week, so I do apologize for the technical lateness of this blog (by about 2 hours) for the "Obsession of the Week." I promise to do better next week!
October is quickly coming to an end, have you been showing your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month? If not, here's a great place to start!
Celebrities love Boy Meets Girl, and so do I! It is definitely one of my favorite brands of all time. I love their iconic boy and girl silhouettes. The fact that all their clothing is both cute and comfortable doesn't hurt either! So imagine how excited I was when I discovered this tote! I could show my support for breast cancer awareness, shop one of my favorite brands, and get to wear a super cute tote--all for a great price!

"We'll just keep running from tomorrow."
Lucca Couture dress. Melissa shoes. Aeropostale headband. Marc Jacobs ring. Coach bag.
I'm a huge fan of Lucca Couture dresses, they're always super fun and cute. I usually buy them from HauteLook, but the brand is also sold at Urban Outfitters. I like Lucca dresses so much that I sometimes buy the same dress in multiple colors. (Examples: here and here) I also have the pictured dress also in a tan version.
Also, for anyone interested in green fashion--or just super cute shoes--I wholeheartedly recommend Melissa shoes! Known for their "plastic dream" shoes, Melissa shoes are created from recyclable and hypoallergenic materials. In addition, not only are the shoes eco-friendly and cute, but they are also super comfortable!

All I want...is some Amrita Singh jewelry.
Obsession of the Week: Amrita Singh jewelry
Marion necklace: a nice necklace that's even better when you take a closer look.
Inti necklace: I always love anything turquoise from Amrita Singh, this layered necklace especially.
Flower bib necklace: who can resist a great statement necklace?
Eva necklace: absolutely elegant and stunning.
Nello earrings: so lovely, I've always wanted this pair!
Claudette ring: don't know if it's been evident, but I love black, especially jewelry!
I wish I lived in a big city like NYC or L.A. or anywhere else with abundant chances for sample sales. Unfortunately, I don't. The closest I've come to a sample sale was an American Apparel rummage sale earlier this summer and the Victoria's Secret Pink Nation [somewhat] exclusive sales every now and then. Lame, I know. But fortunately, the internet has blessed people like me with online sample sales! If you haven't been gotten in on these, don't wait any longer! My personal favorites are HauteLook, Rue la la, Ideeli, Beyond the Rack, and of course, Gilt which currently has a Amrita Singh sale.
I have always been a fan of Amrita Singh jewelry; however, it's this week's obsession because when I saw the recent sales, I was just reminded of just how amazing the jewelry is. Amrita Singh jewelry is always so classy and chic and would instantly dress up any outfit. Above are my personal favorites but be sure to check out Gilt for a larger selection. Move quick though, fashionably frenzy shoppers always snag great finds; the sale also ends Monday (October 18th) at 9am PDT.

"If you liked it, then you shoulda put a ring on it."
Michael Stars top. Gap jeans. Jessica Simpson heels. Forever 21 headband. Guess watch.
Express cuff (also seen here). Swarovski earrings. House of Harlow and Marc Jacobs rings.
The whole concept of "one size fits most" is kind of a touchy one, at least in my opinion. Often when I come across any shirt that says "one size fits most," I feel like it should be changed to "one size fits most super skinny people." Thus, I'm thankful for such roomier styles like the one here (also seen in this post).
I'm also debating how I feel about clogs/backless heels. I'm a fast walker, and I always feel so noisy when walking with clog type shoes. I feel paranoid that I'm walking too loudly and everyone can hear each step I take. Does anyone else ever feel like that?

All I want...are some Aldo heels.
Obsession of the Week: Aldo heels
1. Schade, $33.74; I like the strappy + mesh look.
2. Kotas, $33.74; The clear shanks on the sides are definitely different.
3. Beier, $33.74; Been looking for a non-boring pair of brown heels.
4. Kimzey, $33.74; Sexy wedges!
5. Secrest, $33.74; Love the fun, soft coral color of these heels.
6. Hodapp, $37.49; Been looking for a pair of gray heels, also love the cut of the shoe!
7. Sandford, $41.24; I like the heeled clog feel to these.
8. Creger, $44.99; Neutral heels are a must! Plus, love the cut of the shoe.
9. Zweier, $44.99; I don't wear red but would totally get these! Love the studded detailing!
10. Mignogna, $44.99; I love wedges, neutral colored heels, and studs--great combo!
11. Nemets, $44.99; Hello, neutral slingbacks! Subtly sexy, especially with the hidden platform.
12. Froling, $48.74; They always say purple is the color of royalty!
I came to the realization that though my blog implies that I am fashionably greedy and want everything, I have yet to really take the time and tell you what I'm lusting after. So lo and behold, here is my first Obsession of the Week post! There are endless amazing Aldo heels on sale, but specifically, I have (after hours of struggling) narrowed it down to my top 12 pairs of shoes all under $50! So help a girl out, which ones are your favorites? And better yet, tell me what heels you've been wanting!

"But will I love you in the fall?"
People's Liberation top. Forever 21 cami. Vans jeans. Coach handbag.
Express cuff. CC Skye ring. Nordstrom necklace. Guess watch. Gola flats.
Now that it's October, summer has officially over for about 2 weeks now. This seasonal transition time is my favorite time of the year. I love late summer/early fall when it's not pouring down rain nonstop (hello, Pacific Northwest) and it's still nice out; the temperature has lowered so it's more tolerable and less blazing hot. But pretty soon, it's going to be time for indoor pictures, less skin and more layers!
