"Don't you wanna stay here a little while?"

Any other Juicy Couture fans out there? I am a huge Juicy Couture fan; I especially love their witty screen tees. I present you with another day of screen tees with positive messages! Today's message: "Be Juicy." (Feel free to go ahead and "couture yourself" while you're at it.) :o)

Juicy Couture tee. Splendid cardigan. Joe's Jeans. Melissa flats.
Coach Purse. Tarina Tarantino ring (as seen here).

I hope you don't tire of my black outfits because I have a ton of them. I love monochromatic outfits, especially when it comes to black! I went for a black and white theme with this outfit but did venture out to silver with my Coach bag. Besides, black is a classic. I read somewhere that "anyone who ever tells you something is the new black is probably trying to sell you something." Seems pretty true! Black is timeless and versatile and will probably always be my go to color (or shade if we want to get technical!).

What is your stance on black? Is it also your go to color?

Does anyone have any "real" colors they always fall back on?

All I want is...some shopping at Lonnys!

Sorry for my recent hiatus, I've just been really busy, sleep deprived and still sick. :o( I feel like I'm getting better--I should be, I've been sick for almost a month now! And one of my internships will be finishing at the end of the month so hopefully I can catch up on sleep then!

But though I've been too busy/sleepy/sick to blog lately, I will admit I've still managed to sneak time away to shop. (It's what happens when you're a shopaholic!)

I always love discovering websites that have what I like--who doesn't? It's much easier having specific go-to sites rather than going through pages of Google. When trying to browse the newest sales of brands that I like, it is so more efficient knowing exact sites that I can check rather than going through pages of search results.

Let me introduce you to Lonnys, a site I recently discovered with so many of my favorite brands such as Alice + Olivia, Elizabeth & James, Free People, Splendid, and Torn (and many more!). I've been guilty of major shopping lately and still have necessary shopping to do soon (yes, actually necessary--birthday present for my nephew and anniversary present for the boyfriend). So the items I am currently obsessing over are all below $100! Enjoy, my fellow frugal fashionistas!

Obsession of the Moment: Lonnys.com

Necessary:
Alternative Apparel Half Sleeve Hoodie, $38; chic and practical--the hoodie is an easy item to throw on and take off when transitioning with the temperature! I love that the cardigan is hooded, yet still versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. Plus, I am currently really into tabbed sleeves.

Trendy:
2877 Navy Striped Rope Dress, $38; nautical is very in right now--this dress has the stripes and the ropes! I love the simplicity of this dress, as well as the braided rope detailing. And at $38, this dress is pretty affordable!

Fun:
2877 Printed Dress, $72; this dress is anything but boring with its geometric graphic design, cinched waist and cut out/butterfly sleeves.

Subtle hotness:
Only Hearts Tee Tunic, $55; a dress that knows balance. It's short to show off your legs, but covers pretty much everything else. Additionally, the see through lace topped sleeves leave people guessing. This dress has just the right amount of everything.

In a rush:
Splendid Slub Tank Maxi Dress, $98; in reality, maxi dresses are a necessity--everyone needs them for their casual days and lazy days, but most of all, the days where you need to throw something on and still look fabulous.

For your inner hippie:
Lucky Brand Ipanema Smocked Top, $89.50; want to look effortlessly chic? Go boho.

Just because:
Accessories & Beyond Amazonite Bracelet, $98; I have always been obsessed with cool stones, this bracelet is no exception. I really like how the bracelet is tough--yet pretty.

In addition to having fabulous items on their website, Lonnys is extra great because they gave me an exclusive discount code to share with you! Want to save on fantastic fashion? Like me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter to see the code. :o)

Plus, kill two birds with one stone (figuratively, of course!)! My giveaway ends
at the end of the month--have you entered? By liking me on Facebook or following me on Twitter (and leaving me a comment on the giveaway page letting me know you did), you will get entering the giveaway and getting the discount code to Lonnys!

You can also
follow me on Google Friend Connect or Bloglovin' to enter. Be sure to leave me a separate comment for each thing you did. Good luck!

"The girl in the dress."

Splendid cardigan. Lauren Conrad x Kohl's dress. Coach tote.
Juicy Couture necklace. House of Harlow ring. Calvin Klein heels.

This was my "hire me please" [interview] outfit.  I wanted to wear my [LC] Lauren Conrad dress which also came with a black belt so I played off the black belt; I went with a black cardigan, black tote, and black heels to coordinate.

I then wore my Juicy Couture layered necklace to add a little something else to the outfit and topped the outfit off with my House of Harlow peacock cocktail ring.  I read somewhere--probably a fashion magazine--that you should dress [fairly] simply for an interview but have an extra something that will make you memorable.  I tend to wear mostly black for interviews but pick a single accessory to be bold or colorful.  With the primarily black color palette for my outfit, I've worn a pink trench coat before, as well as pink heels; and this time, my standout piece of my cocktail ring.

What a tough economy though.  What is the point in graduating early if you can't find a job early?  It's been getting better, but quite slowly--definitely slower than I would like.  On the bright side, I did end up successful.  The interview was actually for an internship later in the winter, but beggars can't be choosers!  It should look good on my resume nonetheless and any additional hands on experience is certainly good!

Meanwhile, in order to afford my shopping habit, be sure to check out my Shop page.  I have great deals on brands such as Yumi Kim, Joy Han, and I'm actually selling my Heartloom dress (the Paris Hilton dress as worn here) as well!  A lot of items are starting at just $5!

But for quicker sales, I am selling some things on my friend's eBay such as a pair of Sam Edelman flats and a couple pairs of brand new Jeffrey Campbells!

"You should go home before your money's all gone."

Joy Han dress. Splendid cardigan. Marc Jacobs tote.
Forever 21 leggings. Tiffany earrings. Forever 21 ring. Gola flats.

One of my favorite ways to end any day I end up working on the weekend?  Shopping!  I especially love shopping downtown!  And any day that I have that many bags is a good day--though maybe not so much for my wallet...

"So tell me why we're talking when we dance so good."

Splendid cardigan. Urban Outfitters tee. Forever 21 cami. Linea Pelle bracelets. Forever 21 ring.
Vintage (black) necklace/ American Eagle (gold) necklace. Vans jeans. Jeffrey Campbell booties.

Slightly old pictures from coffee/lunch at the Barnes & Noble Starbucks and later attending a Wakey!Wakey! concert.  It was my very first concert (well, there was this orchestra that I went to earlier last year but I feel like that doesn't count), and it was really great.  Michael Grubbs and his violinist, Caitlin Moe, are really funny, and the whole atmosphere itself was fun.  Michael Grubbs is on One Tree Hill, one of my favorite shows of all times, and after he sang "Dance So Good," I fell in love.  I looked up the song and have been a fan of Wakey!Wakey! since.  I'm grateful for the opportunity to see Grubbs in concert, as well as meet him!  It was a great day!
