All I want...is a pair of Seychelles!

Obsession of the Moment: Seychelles Shoes

Ever since I gave myself that one in, one out rule (buy/acquire a clothing item, donate/sell/throw out an item), I've been working through the shopping loophole by buying accessories and shoes instead.  And when a great sale comes up, I'm like a moth to the light.

Seychelles is one of my favorite shoe brands (see one of my favorite pair of boots here and here), and if you like them too, don't miss out on Modnique's current sale!

If I had it my way, I would buy them all.  Unfortunately, I work part-time at a nonprofit and spend the rest of my time interning for free and can't afford to do so.  :o(

I narrowed my top favorites down to these:

Cut out bootie in Clay:
If you want to play it safe, get these in black because you can't go wrong with black!  However, I prefer them in Clay because I think you can make more of a statement with them.

Slip on clog:
Clogs are very in right now, and these ones are super cute!  I love the knotted detailing.

Metallic leather sandals in Pewter:
I've actually seen the white pair before on other sites and debated whether to get them.  I have a thing for snake print (see here and here), and I don't think I can say no to this version!

Slouch booties in Whiskey:

I also love the gold version of these, but I'm just not daring enough to wear them.  I like the Whiskey ones because the color is classic and far more versatile.  Either way, these booties are a must.  They would go great with a pair of skinny jeans tucked in or worn with skirt (with or without tights)--I'm envisioning them with a knee length full skirt for fun.  :o)

What do you think?  Be sure to check out the sale!  Let me know which ones you liked (or bought)!  :o)

All I want...is another stylish addition to my closet.

The great thing about sample sales and flash sales sites is the easy access to new brands.  Through a flash sale site, I was introduced to Lucca Couture which is now one of my favorite brands.

I recently discovered Garner Grace through Modnique, a flash sale site I recently joined.  Garner Grace has simple, yet chic clothes!  I pretty much want everything in the sale, but below are my top favorites.  :o)  The sale is currently going on now and will last for 2 more days so be sure to check it out!

Also obsessing over another Pretty Little Liars outfit....

Of all 4 of the Pretty Little Liars, Aria is probably my favorite in both style and personality.  However, in this last week's "Je Suis une Amie" episode, it was Spencer's style I was obsessing over.  I absolutely love, love, love Spencer's top here!  After I watched the video, I knew I had to find out what shirt she was wearing.  It is Foley & Corrina's "Draped Lion Tunic."  At $120, it is sadly out of my price range.  There is also the "Asymmetric Lion Head Blouse" which is a similar style and a wee bit cheaper.

Have you discovered any great items recently?

All I want...is affordable Marc Jacobs.

Obsession of the Week: Marc Jacobs jewelry

1. Jelly Bracelet Set, $15; Honestly, I think the whole Silly Band craze is silly.  But these are Marc Jacobs...
2. ReMARCable Dove Studs, $32; Love that they look so much like the bird silhouette on the Petal to the Metal bags.
3. House of Cards earrings, $44.90; I think MJ's "House of Cards" collection is fun, plus I like pave.
4. Logo Band Ring, $33.60; Versatile, simple, and chic.

5. Iconic stud earring collection, $78; What a steal for 3 sets of earrings from the "ReMARCable" collection!
6. Sparkle Logo studs, $48; Versatile, simple, and chic--for the ears!
7. Zip It Studs, $58; Despite that these are the 7th item on this list, let me reassure you they are much higher on my wish list!  I've been wanting this pair forever! (Well, at least since Ella wore them on "Melrose Place.")
8. Marc Script Studs, $38; The man of my dream's name as earrings! (Yes, we're ignoring that MJ is gay.)
9. Enamel Discs Drop Earrings, $68; Chic, elegant, classy--need I say more?
10. Iconic Metal Stack Ring, $28; So simple!
11. House of Cards Wrap Necklace, $82.60; Another lovely item from the "House of Cards" collection.
12. Flight Marquis Leaf Earrings, $78; Have a bit of a boho feel to them. Also seem really versatile!
13. House of Cards Fantastical Tale Heart Locket Necklace, $54.60; Love the design of it and that it's a locket! (P.S. What a long name for a design!)

I haven't gone through much of an autobiography of myself--although no one has asked for one yet either--but when it comes to fashion, you must know that Marc Jacobs is, hands down, one of my favorite--if not very favorite--fashion designer.  I absolutely love his fun and whimsical designs which easily morph into very chic and classy items.  If I could marry him and have him design me lots of things, I would be one happy girl.  Unfortunately, that's an impossible dream in more ways than one.  Thus, I'll have to settle with lusting more after his designs.  :o)

Also, sorry for the bad photo editing skills tonight, I'm pretty sick and it's also pretty much bedtime.

And on a side note, I just bought a pair of amazing Tarina Tarantino earrings last night that I couldn't live without.  I can't wait until they arrive!  They were an amazing deal!  (If you're not a member of Beyond the Rack, join!!)

All I want...is some Amrita Singh jewelry.

Obsession of the Week: Amrita Singh jewelry

Marion necklace: a nice necklace that's even better when you take a closer look.
Inti necklace: I always love anything turquoise from Amrita Singh, this layered necklace especially.
Flower bib necklace: who can resist a great statement necklace?
Eva necklace: absolutely elegant and stunning.
Nello earrings: so lovely, I've always wanted this pair!
Claudette ring: don't know if it's been evident, but I love black, especially jewelry!

I wish I lived in a big city like NYC or L.A. or anywhere else with abundant chances for sample sales.  Unfortunately, I don't.  The closest I've come to a sample sale was an American Apparel rummage sale earlier this summer and the Victoria's Secret Pink Nation [somewhat] exclusive sales every now and then.  Lame, I know.  But fortunately, the internet has blessed people like me with online sample sales!  If you haven't been gotten in on these, don't wait any longer!  My personal favorites are HauteLook, Rue la la, Ideeli, Beyond the Rack, and of course, Gilt which currently has a Amrita Singh sale.

I have always been a fan of Amrita Singh jewelry; however, it's this week's obsession because when I saw the recent sales, I was just reminded of just how amazing the jewelry is.  Amrita Singh jewelry is always so classy and chic and would instantly dress up any outfit.  Above are my personal favorites but be sure to check out Gilt for a larger selection.  Move quick though, fashionably frenzy shoppers always snag great finds; the sale also ends Monday (October 18th) at 9am PDT.
