"If I had you, that would be the only thing I'd ever need."

Lucca Couture dress. Carole earrings. American Eagle necklace.
Guess watch. Linea Pelle bracelet. Penny Loves Kenny wedges.

I liked this Lucca Couture dress so much, I also got it in black, as seen here.  Lucca Couture is a really fun, girly brand.  You can find their stuff at Urban Outfitters or even at a lot of online sample sales such as HauteLook (which has their stuff pretty often).  I think I have also seen their stuff on Ideeli or Ruelala before.  However, HauteLook is probably a better bet; I have seen Lucca sales on there pretty frequently.

Those Penny Loves Kenny shoes were an amazing deal.  They are also comfortable enough.  They last me about five hours before I'm in excrutiating pain which is pretty good.

And yes, another one of my frequently wore items--a Linea Pelle bracelet.  I want the Dylan handbag pretty badly such as this, this, this, or this,  but can't really afford it at the moment so I settle and make do with Linea Pelle bracelets.  They are a great addition to nearly any outfit.  Plus, I have the bracelet in cream, black, blue, and pink so I feel like I'm pretty set; those would go with almost any outfit I wear.

"When the ocean met the sky. (You missed, you missed.)"

Alex & Chloe tee. People's Liberation jacket. Joe's Jeans. Marc Jacobs tote. BCBG wedges.

I love the whimsical, eccentric, and fun style of Alex & Chloe.  This tee shirt is one of my favorites.  It's really comfortable and simple, yet fun.  Apparently, it is also a celebrity favorite as seen on Joe Jonas (of the Jonas brothers) here, Jessica Stroup (Silver) wore it in an episode of 90210 seen here, and Demi Lovato wears the pink version of this tee as seen here.  I admit that my outfit doesn't entirely match (I have a really bad habit of not changing purses to match outfits), but in my defense, it was meant to be a casual outfit because I kind of threw everything on in a frenzy to leave and not be so late.  I love the "anytime factor" of the tee shirt.  I think I could even dress it up, easily pairing it with a simple skirt--a red skirt would be great!  (If only I had a red skirt...)

"You should go home before your money's all gone."

Joy Han dress. Splendid cardigan. Marc Jacobs tote.
Forever 21 leggings. Tiffany earrings. Forever 21 ring. Gola flats.

One of my favorite ways to end any day I end up working on the weekend?  Shopping!  I especially love shopping downtown!  And any day that I have that many bags is a good day--though maybe not so much for my wallet...

"You mean the world to me, but you'll never know."

C & C California cardigan. Joie dress. Forever 21 cami. Tiffany earrings. Guess watch.
Linea Pelle and Lucky Brand bracelets. American Eagle necklace. Forever 21 ring. Gola flats.

I fell in love with this Joie dress the moment I first laid eyes on it; it was literally love at first sight--I had to have it.  The fact that it had been on sale didn't hurt either.  It's a pretty casual, slightly boho dress, yet at the same time, feels very romantic and feminine.  The material is pretty low maintenance, yet the soft lavendar color and subtle metallic gives it a nice, girly feel.

And yes, you spotted it--another repeat clothing item.  I love C & C California for the versatility of their items, particularly this cardigan.  It's so easy to throw on over almost anything, as you can see here and here.

"So tell me why we're talking when we dance so good."

Splendid cardigan. Urban Outfitters tee. Forever 21 cami. Linea Pelle bracelets. Forever 21 ring.
Vintage (black) necklace/ American Eagle (gold) necklace. Vans jeans. Jeffrey Campbell booties.

Slightly old pictures from coffee/lunch at the Barnes & Noble Starbucks and later attending a Wakey!Wakey! concert.  It was my very first concert (well, there was this orchestra that I went to earlier last year but I feel like that doesn't count), and it was really great.  Michael Grubbs and his violinist, Caitlin Moe, are really funny, and the whole atmosphere itself was fun.  Michael Grubbs is on One Tree Hill, one of my favorite shows of all times, and after he sang "Dance So Good," I fell in love.  I looked up the song and have been a fan of Wakey!Wakey! since.  I'm grateful for the opportunity to see Grubbs in concert, as well as meet him!  It was a great day!

Miss Independent.

Pictures from a little while ago...After spending hours managing volunteers and making sure our event was going as smoothly as possible, I took a walk on a pier nearby and enjoyed being done with work.  I love walks by the water on days with not a single cloud in the sky--bliss.

C & C California cardigan. LA Kitson top. Joe's Jeans. Marc Jacobs tote.
Swarovski earrings. Linea Pelle bracelets. Guess watch. CC Skye ring. Zigi Soho boots.

And apparently, the day was exhausting enough that I tried to sneak a nap in on the way home.  (We had a stop then, which is why my seatbelt isn't on.  Wear your seatbelt when you're driving, kids!)

(P.S. I warned you it wouldn't be the last you saw of the Zigi Soho boots!)

"You say goodbye and I say hello."

Free People dress. C & C California cardigan. Forever 21 ring.
Tiffany earrings. Nordstrom necklace & belt. Zigi Soho boots.

Yes, you've all seen these boots before; you saw them here, here, and here, but I feel like this won't be the last post you see with my Zigi Soho boots.  Truth is, I am madly in love with them.  Every girl should own a pair of boots as versatile as they are!  I can wear them casually with jeans or dress them up with skirts and dresses.  Most of the time though, I find myself usually pairing them up with some girly skirt or dress; it gives my outfit a nice edge and balances things out.

I have also been finding myself wearing my cross connector ring from Forever 21 pretty often. I first saw the ring on That's Chic, was really sad to see that it was sold out online, but then became miraculously fortunate enough to find it in a Forever 21 store (after scouring multiple stores)!  Forever 21 rings are absolutely great--not only are the designs unique and fun, but the prices are always such a bargain!  Forever 21 is also the only place I've noticed with a good selection of connector rings.  All the connector rings I've gotten, such as the ones seen here or here are from Forever 21.  Definitely check out their selection when you get the chance!

"Welcome to wherever you are."

People's Liberation jacket. LA Kitson top. Forever 21 tank top. DKNY jeans.
Juicy Couture necklace. Linea Pelle bracelets. Marc Jacobs tote. Ed Hardy flats.

I've been meaning to buy a loom and learn to make something other than just scarves.  However, with summer here, I have plenty of time before I really need to start knitting again for cold weather.  Still, I love strolling the aisles of craft stores and admiring all the great yarns.  I tend to get immersed in all of the colors and textures.

I am test wearing my new Ed Hardy Sin City flats.  I had been devastated when they sold out of the flats at Nordstrom and Macy's, but thankfully, I found the flats here --and for an amazing deal!  They're not only insanely cute, pretty comfortable, but most of all, very versatile--traits I look for in shoes!
